DHL Express announces rate hike in India for 2023
Prices are revised by DHL Express on an annual basis, taking into account inflation and currency dynamics, as well as administrative costs related to regulatory and security measures.
DHL Axus today announced a hike in its rates. This hike in rates will come into effect from January 1, 2023. The average growth in India over 2022 will be 7.9%. Senior Vice President, South Asia at DHL Express, R. s. Subramanian said, “So far, 2022 has been another tumultuous year with a volatile market environment challenging global trade. However, we have proven our ability to provide stable and reliable services to our customers globally.”
He said, “With annual price adjustments, we are able to invest in our infrastructure and technology to ensure flexible, sustainable and world-class customer solutions. This includes expanding our hubs and gateways to meet growing customer demand with state-of-the-art aircraft and vehicles, and investing in eco-friendly and more sustainable solutions such as sustainable aviation fuel and electric vehicles."
Prices are revised by DHL Express on an annual basis, taking into account inflation and currency dynamics, as well as administrative costs related to regulatory and security measures. These measures are being updated regularly by national and international authorities in each of the more than 220 countries and territories where DHL Express provides its service. Price adjustments will vary from country to country, depending on local conditions, and will apply to all customers where contracts allow this.
