PM Modi said that Swami Vivekananda devoted all his life to the cause of the nation. He also said that he motivated many youngsters to work towards nation-building.
Prime Minister Modi issues his statement from his Twitter handle in which he wrote, “I pay tributes to the great Swami Vivekananda on his Jayanti. His was a life devoted to national regeneration. He has motivated many youngsters to work towards nation-building.”
Calling everyone to work towards fulfilling his dream he said, “Let us keep working together to fulfil the dreams he had for our nation."
Borne on January 12, 1863, in Kolkata, Swami Vivekananda Jayant was one of the leading Indian philosophers whose thoughts are still relevant today.
His comments such as “The world is the great gymnasium where we come to make ourselves strong,” and “Where can we go to find God if we cannot see Him in our own hearts and in every living being,” have been still remembered.
He had once said, “A man is not poor without a rupee but a man is really poor without a dream and ambition.”
Spreading the message of oneness he had said, “All differences in this world are of degree, and not of kind, because oneness is the secret of everything.”
