CM Yogi Adityanath has given a big message to the department by sacking the the jurisdictional Navneet Nayak from service.
Navneet Nayak, a 2014 batch PPS officer, was suspended in October, 2020 while being posted as CO Patti in Pratapgarh. The CO found guilty of moral turpitude in the departmental inquiry has been shown the way out of the police department.
A case of rape was registered against Navneet Nayak, Deputy Superintendent of Police (CO) in Patti Kotwali of Pratapgarh. Navneet Nayak is accused of refusing to marry after having a physical relationship with a girl from Madhya Pradesh. Due to this allegation, the government had suspended Navneet Nayak.
