The patrolling party of the Delhi Police is maintaining a strict watch on all activities and wherever they find any suspicion, they crack down on it.
In a similar effort, the patrolling parties at Kishangarh and RK Puram Police Station in the South-West district significant achievements.
“During patrolling under #OperationSatark scheme, Constable Shailendra of RK Puram Police Station nabbed one 41-year-old bootlegger namely Sanjay Kumar, son of Prakash Chand Jain and resident of Ambedkar Basti, Sector-1, RK Puram, along with 3 boxes of illegal liquor containing 146 QUARTERS (For sale in Haryana only). He was booked under Delhi Excise Act. He is previously involved in 01 cases,” Gaurav Sharma, DCP, South-West District, New Delhi, said.
He added, “During area patrolling, staff of Kishangarh Police Station comprising Head Constable Rajbir and Constable Ran Singh nabbed one 47-yar-old bootlegger namely Sarat Nayak. He is a resident of ward no 2, Mehrauli. He was caught along with 75 quarters of illegal liquor (For sale in Haryana only). He was also booked under Delhi Excise Act and he has no previous involvement.”
In total, 221 Quarters of illicit liquor were recovered from their possession.
