Delhi Police launches an e-FIR app for House Theft and Burglary related complaints
This Republic Day has been a milestone for Police across states. While the Mumbai Police launched the “Nirbhaya Squad”, the Delhi Police launched an “E-FIR” application for registration of theft cases. The users will be able to register an FIR and get a copy instantly without having to go to the Police Station physically.

Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana on Wednesday launched the e-FIR app. He also said, “Immediate online lodging of the FIR for the property stolen in Delhi through web facilities investigation officers to complete investigation and documentation as well as timely disposal of cases to reduce pendency at police stations and courts.”
