There was heavy rush at Metro stations of Yellow Line in the morning due to disruption in services. The Yellow Line of the Delhi Metro connects Samaypur Badli in Delhi with HUDA City Center in Gurugram. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation tweeted at around 7 am to inform passengers, "Services are not available on Yellow Line between Sultanpur and Ghitorni. Services are available between HUDA City Center and Ghitorni as well as between Sultanpur and Samaypur Badli. Services are normal on all the other lines.
About 20 minutes before this, he had tweeted that there is a delay in services between Ghitorni and Sultanpur. "There was some technical snag in a train on this line but it is being rectified," an official source said.
Earlier in the month of July, there was a technical problem in the Blue Line of Delhi Metro. Due to this there was delay in services on the route from Indraprastha to Yamuna Bank. The Metro continued to run as normal on the rest of the lines. Delhi Metro had tweeted that the Metro was running very slow due to a signaling problem between Yamuna Bank and Indraprastha Metro Station.
