Delhi Excise Policy: Vijay Nair arrested in Delhi Excise case, accused close to Manish Sisodia
The CBI has issued a Look Out Circular (LOC) against all the accused, including Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, named in the Delhi Excise Policy scam. All of them have been banned from leaving the country.
The first arrest was made on Tuesday evening in connection with the alleged Delhi Excise scam. According to sources, the CBI, which is probing the case, has arrested Vijay Nair, former CEO of the event management company Only Much Louder. Sources said that the accused is close to the Deputy Chief Minister and Excise Minister Manish Sisodia.
CBI has issued look out circular notice against eight accused including Manish Sisodia. A total of nine people are named in the FIR, out of which only a look out circular has not been issued against Manoj Rai, the former Vice President of Pernod Ricard.
The accused include Vijay Nair, former CEO of Only Much Louder, Amandeep Dhal, owner of Brindco Spirits, Sameer Mahendru, owner of Indospirits, Amit Arora, director of Buddy Retail, Dinesh Arora of Radha Industries, Sunny Marwaz of proprietorship firm Mahadev Liquors. The accused also include Arjun Ramchandra Pillai and Arjun Pandey.
