Delhi Cabinet Approves Bill to Regulate School Fees in Private and Government-Aided Institutions
Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast that today, partly cloudy skies will prevail over Delhi along with a few chances of thunderstorms going toward the evening.
Delhi C.M. Rekha Gupta Tuesday revealed the Delhi Cabinet has approved a draft bill to regulate the fees in all schools of the Capital. She was addressing a press conference where she termed the action taken by the Delhi government "historic" and "brave".
The skies here in Delhi is partly cloudy on Tuesday giving way to chances of thunderstorms later in the evening. Under predominantly cloudy condition, the day's maximum is likely to settle around 39 degrees Celsius. Of note, this was the day when Delhi recorded its highest day temperature of 42.1 degrees Celsius for April in the last three years on Saturday.

Meanwhile, disruptions continued at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport as 462 of 662 all outbound flights were delayed, making up 70 percent of Monday's departures owing to inclement weather and repairs on runways.
26/11 accused hearing of Tahawwur Rana: The Patiala House Court on Monday took custody of Tahawwur Rana for another 12 days under the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The special NIA judge Chander Jit Singh produced Rana on the conclusion of his 18-day custody with the NIA. NIA had sought extension of custody of Rana, a close ally of main conspirator of 26/11, David Coleman Headley, brought to India after the US Supreme Court dismissed his review plea against extradition on April 4.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced Tuesday that three committees-the school, district and state-would be created to set the guidelines for regulation of fees across Delhi schools.
The orders are to be issued by the school-level committee once the guidelines for schools are finalised. The CM added that in the case of non-compliance by any school towards the government guideline, penalties ranging between Rs 1 to Rs 10 lakh would be levied on such school.
