Customers left with: 19 million users separated from Jio and 1 million users from Vi, but still Jio number is no 1

In the September report of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), the country's largest telecom company Reliance Jio has suffered a big loss. According to the report, 19 million (19 million) customers separated from Jio in September. However, even after the reduction of these customers, Jio remains the number one company in the country. In the same month, 10.77 lakh users were also disconnected from Vi India (Vodafone Idea).

On one hand, where customers separated from Jio and Vi, Bharti Airtel got the benefit of this. Airtel added 2.74 lakh customers in September. According to the report, Airtel's subscriber base increased to 35.44 million in September from 35.41 million in August.

Jio may have lost customers in September, but its average revenue per user (ARPU) has increased. Jio's ARPU was Rs 138 in the June quarter, which has now gone up to Rs 144. Airtel's subscriber base has increased from 29.85 percent to 30.4%. Whereas Vodafone Idea's figure rose from 22.84 percent to 23.15 percent. The market share of Jio has increased from 37.40 percent to 36.43 percent.
