CRPF jawan was martyred in terrorist attack, became 'brother' partner in sister's wedding

Last year in 2020, on October 5, many CRPF personnel attended the wedding of the sister of 110 Battalion constable Shailendra Pratap Singh, who was martyred in the terrorist attack in Pulwama, as elder brothers.

According to reports, the wedding ceremony of Shailendra Pratap Singh's sister Jyoti took place in Rae Bareli, Uttar Pradesh. During the wedding, CRPF personnel suddenly reached Shailendra's family and made everyone present there emotional. A senior officer said that the jawans, playing the role of brothers, have tried to fill the gap of martyr Shailendra.

Martyr Shailendra Pratap Singh's father said that my son is no longer in this world but we have many sons in the form of CRPF jawans, who stand with us in happiness and sorrow.
