With this, the number of infected in Maharashtra has increased to 78,98,815 while the death toll from the epidemic has increased to 11,47,866. On February 17 this year, 2,797 new cases were registered in Maharashtra. On Tuesday, 1,881 cases were reported in Maharashtra, which was a big jump in the infection figures.
According to the data updated by the Ministry of Health at 8 am on Wednesday, after 93 days in 24 hours, 5,233 cases have been found and seven people have died, of which five deaths are from Kerala alone. There has been an increase of 41 percent in new cases in a day.
