Covid 19 Updates : More than 12 thousand cases came in 1 day after 109 days
The state health department said, during the last 24 hours, four new cases of infection with the BA5 form of corona virus have also been reported in the state.
Once again, there is a rapid increase in corona cases in the country. For the last several days, more than 8 thousand corona cases are being registered. Meanwhile, the figure of Corona has crossed 12 thousand.
According to the data of the Ministry of Health, a total of 12,213 new cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours. There has been an increase of 38.4 percent in corona cases as compared to yesterday. The total number of active cases in the country has reached 58,215. At the same time, the daily positivity rate is 2.35 percent.
A total of 11 people died due to corona virus in the last 24 hours. During this 7,624 people recovered from Covid. A day before this i.e. on Wednesday, 8,822 new cases of Covid-19 were reported. A jump of more than three and a half thousand has been registered in corona cases in a day.
Maharashtra has the highest number of corona cases in the country. On Wednesday, 4,024 new cases of corona virus infection were registered in Maharashtra, which is 36 percent more than the previous day, while two infected people died during this period.
