Covid-19 Update: India sees 3,962 cases, 22 deaths in 24 hours
There has been a slight increase in the daily cases in the country on Thursday. Today 3,962 new cases have been reported in the country. While 22 died of infection.
Covid-19 Update: India on Thursday recorded fresh 3,962 Covid-19 cases, taking down the number of active infections to 36,244 in the last 24 hours, according to Union health Ministry. Total 22 deaths are recorded in last 24 hours, the data updated at 8 am on Thursday said.
The daily positivity rate was recorded at 2.17% while the weekly positivity rate was pegged at 3.13%. The total tally of Covid cases is at 4.49 crore (4,49,56,716).
The active cases now comprise 0.08 per cent of the total infections while the national COVID-19 recovery rate has been recorded at 98.73, according to the ministry website. Fatality rate was recorded at 1.18%.

Earlier on Wednesday, 3,720 new cases were reported in the country while 20 people died. A rise of 395 has been registered in daily cases in the last 24 hours.
