Corona reached 15 states of the country, Union Health Minister gave instructions to expedite the Har Ghar Dastak campaign
According to the report of the Union Health Ministry, between June 6 and 12, corona infection has gone up by more than 5 percent in 50 districts in the country. At the same time, before June 6, the total number of these districts was 28.
Corona infection has reached 15 states of the country in the last 7 days amidst scorching sun and fierce heat. In these 15 states, now the infection has reached a critical condition in at least one district. However, instructions have been given to keep these districts in the Yellow Zone and increase surveillance.
In Pondicherry, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh, the infection has increased to 70 percent, one district each of Rajasthan, Nagaland, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal has also come in the Yellow Zone and here the weekly infection rate of corona has been recorded from 6 to 8 percent.
According to a senior Health Ministry official, the effect of Delhi seems to be on the entire NCR and the infection has reached the Yellow Zone in Gautam Budh Nagar, Faridabad and Gurugram, adjoining the three borders of Delhi. However, the situation in Ghaziabad and Sonipat is still under control. He further said that the ministry has ordered the Uttar Pradesh and Haryana governments to immediately increase surveillance in these two cities. So that the infection can be prevented from progressing.
In view of the increasing cases of corona, Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya held a meeting with the Health Ministers of various states through video conferencing. In the meeting, the Union Minister has instructed them not to be negligent in the investigation and to expedite the Har Ghar Dastak campaign.
