Corona LIVE in the world: Corona booster dose to more than 10 million people in France, 60% increase in cases in a week increased concern

Amidst rising cases of Omicron, France has given a booster dose to 10 million of its citizens. French Health Minister Olivier Veran gave this information on his social media. According to the Ministry of Health, so far 5.20 crore people in France have received at least one dose of the vaccine. France has approved vaccines from Pfizer/BioNtech, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson and AstraZeneca.

On Friday, France registered 51,624 new corona cases. There has been an increase of about 60% in corona cases in a week, due to which the government is very worried. The Minister of Health Ministry is going to hold a meeting on Monday. In this they will discuss additional measures to prevent corona infection.
