There is a relief news from WHO regarding the new variant of Corona, Omicron. The World Health Organization said on Wednesday that the study conducted so far on Omicron has not found any evidence to reduce the effect of the current corona vaccine due to it. However, the WHO has confirmed Omicron's ability to spread rapidly and has expressed concern about it.
The WHO said that some mutations of the Omicron strain have been found to have the ability to rapidly spread the infection to other people, raising concerns about a widespread re-spread of the epidemic. The WHO has also expressed concern about Europe becoming the epicenter of the pandemic. However, according to the organization, so far only delta mutations have been found to be dominant for the rapidly increasing cases in European countries.
