For context, Bosch was unsold in the mega auction for IPL 2025 before having registered for the PSL draft that saw him on Peshawar Zalmi's roster for the 10th edition of the premier domestic league in Pakistan.

PCB Threatens Bosch With Legal Action
After Lizaad Williams got injured and was ruled out of IPL 2025, making for a huge loss to MI, Bosch was picked to replace him among five-time winners-Its heavy consequence Bosch was leaving his PSL contract for IPL. The PCB did not like this, and it threatened Corbin with a legal notice.
Recently Bosch has cleared the air, saying he had no intention to disturb the PSL but for the reason that IPL offered him a better future, he preferred to leave Zalmi for the Indians.
"Sources revealed that on Monday, Bosch provided his explanation to Pakistani officials, stating that his decision was not meant to disrespect PSL. He said he had to prioritize his future, as Mumbai Indians are not only a strong IPL team but also have franchises in multiple other leagues, which could benefit his career significantly, " read a report from Cricket Pakistan.

Bosch Fears IPL-like Ban In PSL
It is worth mentioning that Bosch also represents MI Cape Town, MI's sister franchise in SA20, where he was a key player in the victory of Cape Town in SA20 2025 title.
Currently, the PCB is contemplating the punishment to be handed down to Bosch for his actions. Rumors are afloat regarding a potential IPL-style ban on players leaving the PSL before the tournament commences. There are counter-opinions against the imposition of a ban, which would reflect badly, and foreign stars may think twice about registering for the IPL.
