Commissioner posted in 3 new commissionerates in UP, commissioners of 3 districts changed
IG level officers have been given a chance in the Police Commissionerate. Ajay Mishra, Dr. Pritinder Singh and Ramit Sharma have been appointed as Police Commissioners of Ghaziabad, Agra and Prayagraj respectively. At the same time, IG Laxmi Singh has been made Police Commissioner in Gautam Buddha Nagar, while ADG Ashok Mutha Jain, who returned from central deputation recently, has been made the new Police Commissioner of Varanasi.
After the announcement of formation of police commissionerates in Ghaziabad, Agra and Prayagraj by the UP government, many speculations were being made in the name of the commissioner. It came to a halt on Monday late night. The UP government transferred 16 IPS officers late on Monday night. In these, along with posting of police commissioners in the new police commissionerate established in Agra, Ghaziabad and Prayagraj, new officers have also been posted in three ranges and three districts. On the other hand, the commissioners of Gautam Buddha Nagar and Varanasi have been changed.

Soon other new officers will also be posted in Agra, Ghaziabad and Prayagraj commissionerates.
