Ch. Anil Kumar said that Chief Minister Arvind, who could not clean up the Yamuna river in the past seven years, has gone to the Assembly poll-bound Goa, to make tall promises like creation of new schools in every village. He said that Arvind had promised to create 500 new schools in Delhi, but sadly he had not only failed to create new schools, but also failed to upgrade the existing schools. On top of that, Ch. Anil Kumar added, the Delhi Government has written to the 12 Colleges under its direct administration to generate funds within to run them, by charging fees from the students, which will deny students from the marginalized sections of society, including Dalits, from getting higher education. He said that Chief Minister Arvind had promised Rs 5000 and Rs 3000 unemployment allowance to the youth of Uttarakhand and Goa, respectively, but nothing for the youth of Delhi, where unemployment rate is the highest, at 41 per cent.
