Classes 1 to 8 in Gautam Buddha Nagar schools will be online till Tuesday due to excessive pollution
The order said, "Due to the increasing pollution in NCR, in compliance with the instructions of the District Magistrate, classes from class 1 to 8 in all the board schools operating in the district will be compulsorily conducted online from November 8.
With the advent of winter, pollution in Delhi-NCR has increased the problems of the people. Although everyone is being affected due to pollution, children and the elderly are facing the most problems. With the increase in the level of pollution, the DM of Gautam Budh Nagar has issued an order to conduct online classes from class 1 to 8. The order said, "Due to the increasing pollution in NCR, in compliance with the instructions of the District Magistrate, classes from class 1 to 8 in all the board schools operating in the district will be compulsorily conducted online from November 8. Classes 9 to 12 The classes should also be conducted online as far as possible. Also, outdoor activities will be completely prohibited in schools till further orders. All the principals should ensure compliance of this order.
It is worth noting that in neighboring states, air pollution is increasing in Delhi-NCR due to stubble burning and emission of smoky vehicles. Unfavorable meteorological conditions have caused havoc. Many residents have reported breathing difficulties and health problems due to Delhi's toxic air. Of these, the elderly and school going children are the most affected. Medical experts say that prolonged exposure to toxic air can cause serious health problems. It is very harmful especially for school going children in the morning.
