Class VI student shares obscene video on school WhatsApp group, cops offer advice
The headmaster claimed that one of the students shared an obscene video a few days ago and urged the authorities to take legal action against him.
Delhi Police recently registered an FIR against an underage Class VI student of a Delhi public school after he allegedly shared an obscene video on a WhatsApp group of students to share homework. The police later gave him advice.
When contacted by DCP (North Eastern District), Sanjay Kumar Sain confirmed that the FIR was registered after receiving a complaint from the Principal. A senior police official said: "He (the headmaster) claimed that one of the students shared an obscene video a few days ago and urged the authorities to take legal action against him.
Police added that the complainant had asked the students not to share such photos or videos on the WhatsApp group. In his complaint, the school principal told police that several teachers and students were part of the WhatsApp group.
