Chhattisgarh News Deadly Attack on SP, Serious Head Injury, Admitted to Hospital

In Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur district, there was a fierce ruckus over the conversion dispute. Amidst the ongoing dispute between the two parties, there was fierce stone pelting and lathi-poles on Monday. During this, some miscreants made a fatal attack on the SP. The SP suffered a serious head injury in the attack, after which he was rushed to the hospital on the spot.

After being injured, the SP talked to the journalists, in which he told that a meeting was organized by the tribal society on Monday. In this meeting, the Collector and I had a conversation with their leaders by calling them to the Chamber of the Collector. That's why some people went to attack the church after being leaderless. After this, I also reached there with the police force to pacify them.

According to the information, the tribal society took out a huge rally regarding the conversion dispute, in which more than 5 thousand villagers participated. In fact, the tribal community alleges that a campaign is being run by a particular community by luring innocent poor people in the trap of temptation for conversion. Conversion is affecting the tribal culture. Such activities need to be strictly banned. On the other hand, the protesting converts allege that they were assaulted and are being pressurized to go out of the village. They allege that even after complaining continuously, no action has been taken by the administration.
