CAT 2021 - Exam (November 28), Know basic details of the Examination

Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA) is going to conduct the Common Admission Test (CAT) on 28th November in Computer Based Mode. For this, CAT Admit Card 2021 was issued on 27 October. The link to download the CAT admit card is given below. Earlier IIM Ahmedabad had started the CAT Registration 2021 process from August 4, 2021. CAT Application Form 2021 IIM CAT 2021 made available in online mode at iimcat.ac.in website. The last date to fill CAT 2021 application form was September 22, 2021.

The CAT exam consists of three sections: Quantitative Ability (QA), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC). CAT exam is going to be conducted on the last Sunday of November 2021 i.e. November 28, 2021. CAT 2021 exam date information has been given by IIM Ahmedabad on the official website of CAT 2021.

The CAT 2021 exam pattern will include the duration of the exam, the total number of questions asked, the mode in which the CAT 2021 exam will be conducted. Last year there was a change in the CAT exam pattern due to the COVID 19 pandemic and the exam was conducted on a single day in three slots: Morning, Afternoon and Evening.

One way to prepare for CAT 2021 is to test what the candidate has read. Before taking the exam, the candidate must know the syllabus of CAT 2021. Previous year question papers, CAT sample papers and mock tests play a major role. Previous year question paper should be solved by the candidates as it will help in analyzing the preparation.

CAT Official Mock Tests can be used to understand how the exam is conducted. IIM Ahmedabad conducts a separate mock test for the PwD category candidates. These candidates get 53.20 minutes for each section in CAT 2021. A total time of 159.60 minutes is given to complete the CAT Exam 2021.

Candidates can download the respective CAT 2021 admit card by using their CAT login credentials till the day of CAT exam. The admit card has been issued on 27th October. CAT Admit Card 2021 is a mandatory document to be carried to the exam centre. Failure to carry the CAT 2021 admit card to the examination center will result in debarment of appearing in the CAT examination. So, candidates are required to download their hall tickets before the day of CAT exam.

All the candidates who are going to appear in CAT 2021 must follow the given guidelines for the exam. Candidates must know the timing and date of CAT 2021 exam so that nothing is missed. IIMs have instructed the candidates to follow these in CAT 2021 exam.

Candidates are advised to reach the CAT exam center at least one hour before the gate closure.
