Bookie gang busted by Delhi Police, 18 arrested including main accused
According to the information, the police raided the house of the accused at Vani Vihar in Uttam Nagar and succeeded in nabbing everyone.
While exposing the betting gang, Bindapur police station has arrested the main accused named Manoj Jindal of Uttam Nagar. Police has recovered three lakh 95 thousand rupees and playing cards from the accused. In the case, the police have also arrested 17 people involved in betting. Dwarka District Deputy Commissioner of Police M Harshvardhan told that the accused Manoj Jindal used to feed people betting at his home. He used to charge Rs 500 for involving anyone in the betting. After getting information about the accused from the sources, the team was formed under the leadership of SHO Rajesh Malik. According to the information, the police raided the house of the accused at Vani Vihar in Uttam Nagar and succeeded in nabbing everyone.
During interrogation, the accused told that he lives alone in the house and has a stationery shop in Vikas Nagar. Due to the financial loss at work, he started betting, so that the loss could be recovered from there.
