Sharing the video, Anupam Kher wrote in the caption, 'Year 1993, after the Genocide (genocide) of Kashmiri Hindus in Kashmir, gathered for the first time in Delhi. I am known as a person in this community and there I was called to speak upon this issue.

The film 'The Kashmir Files' is based on the historical incident of exodus of Kashmiri Pandits in the 90s. It is said that they were massacred there to remove the Pandits from Kashmir. According to the Kashmiri Pandit Sangharsh Samiti, there were 75,343 Kashmiri Pandit families within the Valley in 1990. But between 1990 and 1992, more than 70 thousand families left the valley due to fear of terrorists.
