Bihar News : 25 dead so far after drinking spurious liquor, three dead bodies cremated without postmortem

Once again the havoc of spurious liquor has been seen in Bihar which has banned liquor. In Saran district, the death toll due to drinking spurious liquor has reached 25. In this maximum 10 people have died from Masrakh, while three from Amnaur and one from Marhaura are involved. At the same time, many people lying ill have also complained of loss of eyesight.
According to the latest information, the administration has so far conducted the post-mortem of 16 bodies. At the same time, the relatives of the deceased have cremated three bodies without conducting the post-mortem. Treatment of more than half a dozen people is going on in Sadar Hospital and PMCH of Patna. Many relatives of the deceased are also telling about death due to illness. In protest against this incident, angry villagers have blocked the Mashrakh Hanuman Chowk State Highway-90 by keeping the dead body. Local villagers are raising slogans against the district administration. Villagers are protesting fiercely in Mashrakh. To convince the angry people, senior police officials have reached there along with the police of many police stations.
In relation to the incident, the villagers told that 21 people of Amanour, Madhaura and Mashrakh block have died so far due to drinking poisonous liquor brought from Doila of Isuapur police station area. Many are seriously ill. All the sick have been admitted to Mashrakh Health Center. From there one person has been referred to Chhapra Sadar Hospital. He is undergoing treatment at Sadar Hospital.
