Bihar Congress President: Akhilesh Singh's coronation on 11th, Anand Sharma and Meera Kumar will come

The newly appointed State President of the Congress Party in Bihar, Dr. Akhilesh Singh will come to Patna on 11 December. During this, a grand reception will be organized by the party. Congress people and well-wishers from all over the state, including many national and regional veteran leaders of the Congress, will participate in the ceremony.

Congress media department chairman Rajesh Rathod told that on 11th Akhilesh will land at Patna airport along with Bihar in-charge Bhakta Charan Das, former Lok Sabha Speaker Meera Kumar, former Union Minister Anand Sharma. From there via Sheikhpura Mor, he will garland the statue of the former Prime Minister at Nehru Park on Jawaharlal Nehru Path.

The program will mainly include the outgoing State Congress President Dr. Madan Mohan Jha, Legislature Party leader Ajit Sharma, Congress ministers in the state government Afaq Alam and Murari Gautam, besides former Governor Nikhil Kumar and senior party leaders and workers. Akhilesh will take charge after reaching the state Congress headquarters after the program organized at Bapu Auditorium.

Senior leaders of the State Congress Committee celebrated the birthday of UPA Chairperson and former Congress President Sonia Gandhi by cutting a cake at Sadakat Ashram on Friday. On this occasion, AICC General Secretary and in-charge of Kerala Tariq Anwar, Bihar Congress Legislative Council leader and outgoing State President Dr. Prominent leaders including Madan Mohan Jha distributed sweets and study materials among the children after cutting the cake. Tariq Anwar said that Sonia Gandhi, the symbol of purity and sacrifice in Indian politics, has provided a role model to political life in the country. Everyone has wished Sonia good health.
