Big blow to the Bhagwant Mann government of Punjab, the governor did not approve the special session of the assembly

Aam Aadmi Party of Punjab has suffered a major setback. Punjab Governor Banwari Lal Purohit has not approved a special session of the Punjab Legislative Assembly called on behalf of the Bhagwant Mann government. Bhagwant Mann Sarkar had called this session to present the trust vote. This session of the assembly was to be held on September 22.
The Aam Aadmi Party had alleged that attempts were being made by the Bharatiya Janata Party to buy many of its MLAs. In view of this, the Bhagwant Mann government again decided to seek a trust vote in the Punjab Legislative Assembly.
On September 22, Governor Banwarilal Purohit had given approval for convening a special session of the Legislative Assembly on September 20. After this, after the letter written by the opposition to the Governor, he took legal opinion in this regard. After this, the approval given for the special session on Wednesday evening was withdrawn.
It has been said in the order of Governor Banwari Lal Purohit, in which it has been said that the right to move the confidence motion to the government is not in the rules of the Punjab Legislative Assembly. Therefore, the approval which was given on September 20 is withdrawn.
Recently, there was an allegation from the Aam Aadmi Party that the Bharatiya Janata Party is trying to buy AAP MLAs in the state so that the Bhagwant Mann government can be brought down. For this, several MLAs were accused of offering Rs 25 crore each. After this, there was uproar in the politics of the state.
