According to sources, Bhupendra Patel will leave for Delhi today itself along with BJP State President CR Patil after being elected as the leader of the BJP Legislature Party. He will meet PM Modi, Amit Shah, JP Nadda and BL Santosh and invite them for the swearing-in ceremony. Along with this, we will discuss with the central leadership which faces should be included in the Gujarat cabinet.
After the resounding victory in the Gujarat assembly elections, now the process of forming a new government within the BJP has intensified. In this connection, a meeting of the Legislature Party was called today in which Bhupendra Patel has been elected as the leader of the Legislature Party. He will take oath as Chief Minister on Monday (December 12). Rajnath Singh, Arjun Munda and BS Yeddyurappa attended the Legislature Party meeting as observers. Kanu Desai proposed the name of Bhupendra Patel and all the MLAs supported it. After being elected as the leader of the Legislature Party, Bhupendra Patel will meet the Governor and stake claim to form the government.

Earlier yesterday, Bhupendra Patel met Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat and submitted his resignation along with his entire cabinet. Now Bhupendra Patel will take oath as CM for the second time on December 12, along with him, 20 cabinet ministers can also take oath. The effect of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 25-year plan will also be seen on Bhupendra Patel's new team. Because the Prime Minister had said in the Botad rally that the future of Gujarat for the next 25 years would be decided by this election.
