Bhim Army Chief Chandrashekhar Azad Granted 'Y+' Category Security by CRPF in UP
Bhim Army Chief Chandrashekhar Azad Granted Y+ Category Security: In Uttar Pradesh, CRPF 'Y+' security cover has been granted to Bhim Army Chief Chandrashekhar Azad.
As a prominent figure in the social and political landscape of Uttar Pradesh, Azad will only be covered by Central Security. A number of threat inputs have been provided by the intelligence bureau because Azad has been an outspoken advocate for marginalized communities in Uttar Pradesh, especially Dalits.
Increasing tensions in Uttar Pradesh and the upcoming Lok Sabha elections have increased Azad's security as a result of his activism and vocal criticism of perceived injustices.
In response to security concerns raised about Azad's safety throughout the state, the MHA has deployed commandos from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). The move demonstrates the government's commitment to safeguarding activists and politicians.
As a social justice champion and a champion of marginalized communities, Azad is also becoming increasingly important. As a proactive move by the authorities to maintain law and order while meeting activists' safety concerns, the decision to provide Azad extra security coincides with upcoming political events and ongoing socio-political tensions in Uttar Pradesh.
