Gujarat's Patidar leader Hardik Patel will join BJP today. Hardik Patel has tweeted before joining BJP. Hardik Patel tweeted and said that he will work as a small soldier. Hardik Patel had resigned from the post of state working president of Congress last month.

In a tweet on Thursday morning, Hardik said, "With the feelings of national interest, state interest, public interest and social interest, I am going to start a new chapter from today.

Hardik said that till today I have not made any kind of demand anywhere in the greed of the post. I left Congress also asking for work and in BJP also I am joining the definition of working. Weak people worry about location. Strong people never worry about the location.

Hardik Patel is set to contest the upcoming assembly elections. Hardik may contest from either Morbi in Saurashtra or Viramgam seat in his native village in Ahmedabad district. He had also indicated to contest the elections from BJP.

Hardik Patel had resigned as the working president as well as the primary member of Gujarat Congress on May 18. While leaving the Congress, Hardik had said that I am sure that my decision will be welcomed by all my colleagues and the people of Gujarat. I believe that after this step of mine, I will be able to work really positively for Gujarat in future.
