BCCI felicitates Virat Kohli for playing 100 test matches
Virat Kohli has become the 12th Indian cricketer to play 100 test matches for India when he played the first game against Sri Lanka in Mohali on March 4.

Before Kohli, the other eleven players who have played 100 test matches are Sunil Gavaskar, Dilip Vengsarkar, Kapil Dev, Sachin Tendulkar, Anil Kumble, Rahul Dravid, Sourav Ganguly, VVS Laxman, Virender Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh and Ishant Sharma.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has felicitated Kohli for this landmark feat and joining the illustrious club of the Indian cricket
Legendary former Indian cricketer and the current coach of the Indian team Rahul Dravid felicitated Kohli with a glittering memento. Kohli used the opportunity to express his feelings as he said, "In present day cricket, with the amount we play with three formats and an IPL, the one takeaway the next generation can take from me is that I played 100 games in the purest format."
Kohli was accompanied by his wife Anushka Sharma at the time of the felicitation ceremony. Kohli’s brother was also present at the venue. Other BCCI officials who attended the event were BCCI, president Sourav Ganguly, secretary Jay Shah, treasurer Arun Dhumal and vice-president Rajiv Shukla.
Kohli thanked BCCI for the continuous support and said that it was a special moment for him and his family.
"It is a special moment for me. My wife is here and so is my brother. Everyone is very proud. It is indeed a team game and it couldn't have been possible without you,” Kohli said.
