Assure IP Protection Agency and IPREC, Chennai Police Unit raided a store that sells Counterfeit All Out Products. Accused arrested

Brillon Consumer Products Private Limited formerly known as SC Johnson Products Private Limited is the most trusted and popular brand in India and that's the reason counterfeiters targets to make quick money. Aware of its popularity, the company takes all necessary precautions to ensure that the customers get the quality product and don’t get cheated. This company that deals in selling , marketing , manufacturing and distribution of mosquito Repellent under the Brand Name "All Out " . The company obtained trademark under Copyright Act 1957.

During an investigation on 27th July , 2022 ,a wholesale counter situated namely Lakshmi Store No 80, Bazaar Street , Sholinger, Ranipet district , Tamil Nadu are selling Counterfeit "All Out" products which are causing huge loss to the Company Business as well as revenue loss to the government by way of SGST and cheating general public.

Necessary legal action under Copyright Act 1857 and other relevant provisions may be initiated against the above offenders.

The Police has seized all the Counterfeit Products and arrested the accused who was involved in the marketing of the fake product and other involved in illegal practices. Malsingh s/o jafer Singh has been arrested by the police as a culprit.

After a detailed survey within a short span of time, the store was identified, the Police were informed and an FIR was lodged as per the Copyright Act of 1957. The accused has been identified as Malsingh.

“We have kept a very strict watch on the market so that not a single counterfeit product can make an entry. The surveillance is very high in every part of the country with the help of other agencies,” the member of the IPR firm said.
