At the same time, the government has given a new gift to the devotees in the form of helicopter booking.
Manoj Sinha, Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir and Chairman of Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB) has launched an online helicopter booking portal for the Amarnath Yatra. This yatra is going to start from 30th June.
Announcing the helicopter service launch, Sinha wrote on Twitter: “Online helicopter booking service portal for Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra launched. For the first time, pilgrims can easily travel from Srinagar to Panchtarni and complete the holy journey in a single day.” Sinha said that the government has been making efforts for a long time to start helicopter services for pilgrims from Srinagar. Was. He further added, “The devotees can log on to the Shrine Board website (http://www.shriamarnathjishrine.com) to book a chopper.”
A day earlier, Mukesh Singh, Additional Director General of Police, Jammu Zone, along with senior officials of administration, police, traffic police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) visited the Yatra route. He also took stock of the security arrangements at the Range Headquarters in Batote town of Ramban. The team also visited Nashri, Chandrakot and Banihal and took stock of the preparations for the food and lodging of the devotees.
