All the information related to the service has been given in the release issued by the Air Force. It has been told what should be the qualification of the candidate joining the army under the Agneepath scheme, what will be his uniform, what will be his salary, how much leave will he get and how will his training be. Apart from this, much information has been given. So that the youth can understand the new restoration plan of the government.
Under Agniveer Yojana, any Indian youth whose age is between 17 to 21 years can apply. They will have to go through a predetermined medical test. Agniveer will also be eligible for medals and awards are given to other Air Force personnel. Also, they will get 30 paid leaves in a year, whereas sick leave will be given as per medical advice.
They will get government health services during the training period. However, they will not be allowed to leave the service in the middle of the training period except in special circumstances. Under the Agneepath scheme, he will get 30 thousand rupees as salary for the first year of service, out of which 21 thousand will go directly to his account and 9000 thousand rupees will go to Agniveer Corps Fund. Salary will increase every year. In the last year of training, Agniveer's salary will be 40 thousand rupees.
At the same time, after four years of training, when 75 percent of Agniveers retire, they will be given 10 lakh four thousand rupees under the service fund, in which five lakh two thousand rupees will be their own earned. Apart from this, they will not get any kind of gratuity or another fund from the government. However, he will get life insurance of Rs 48 lakh during the training period.
