Afghanistan Nation building not a responsibility of the US: Biden
Addressing a press conference held after the US security team brief on the latest developments in Afghanistan, Biden said, "I will not send another generation of Americans to war in Afghanistan with no reasonable expectation of achieving a different outcome."
As the US troops withdrawal is almost complete, Biden iterated that US is not responsible to build Afghanistan and urged their leaders to take charge and proliferate peace in the nation.

In compliance of the US-Taliban agreement, neither of the side have attacked while the withdrawal of troops is in progress. Biden has said that US focus now is on Chinese competition, curbing the spread of corona virus and leading the fight against climate change.
According to Pajhwok Afghan news, Biden has started that US military mission will remain active till the end of August. He is happy that the Americans were successful in the objective of eliminating Laden from his home. Efforts are being made to take interpreters, translators and other diplomats who worked with the US out of the country. 2500 special immigrant have been issued to complete this exercise.
The security team of US earlier informed that 90% of withdrawal is already complete and they would hand over the responsibility to the government by the end of August.
In recent developments, Taliban has claimed to be in control of 85% of Afghanistan. Tensions lurk as the fear of a full blown civil hangs in the air with Afghani forces planning to retaliate and counter attack against Taliban.
