Actor John Abraham donated his Maruti Gypsy for stray animals' cause
Posting it on one of its social sites, AMTM writes that it will use the vehicle at its animal sanctuary in Kolad, Maharashtra, for rescue operations and medical logistics from Mumbai To Kolad and vice versa.
John Abraham, Bollywood actor, has gifted his Maruti Suzuki Gypsy to an non-profit organisation (NGO) - Animal Matter To Me (AMTM) India.
Posting it on one of its social sites, AMTM writes that it will use the vehicle at its animal sanctuary in Kolad, Maharashtra, for rescue operations and medical logistics from Mumbai To Kolad and vice versa.
The actor has a fascination for luxury vehicles and the Gypsy belonged the days when he had entered into modelling.
The NGO thanked the actor and said, "(For) last 5 years he has been a rock-solid support of AMTM India. His kindness continues."
"We are super grateful for his kindness as always and we will do our best in the coming years," it added.
According to its website, AMTM has the vision to transform the quality of life for stray and abandoned animals, through greater understanding, collaboration and by promoting lasting, mutually life-enhancing relationships.
Its founder Ganesh Nayak is a Mumbai based philanthropist and an animal lover. He has worked extensively with existing aminal shelters and NGO’s before starting AMTM.
