On Tuesday, Aamir Khan screened Sitaare Zameen Par for President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Aamir Khan hosted a special screening for President Droupadi Murmu of his film Sitaare Zameen Par which he hosted at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Tuesday. Considered a spiritual sequel to Aamir's 2007 classic Taare Zaminen Par, it has been praised for its emotional depth and impactful social message.

However, the President found out about the screening after the fact, with her official X account (formerly Twitter) posting a few pictures with Aamir just moments after it was held, captioned, “Acclaimed filmmaker and actor Shri Aamir Khan called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan.”
A review by Hindustan Times read, "Aamir is good at comedy, and here too he’s back to that genre. He’s at ease with his co-stars here, and the comfort translates. The first half is bearable only because of Aamir, and then he takes things a notch higher in the second one. Genelia complements him wonderfully as the supportive wife, and the cause of friction between them is thankfully not stretched beyond a point. Dolly Ahluwalia and Brijendra Kala are adorable in their roles and justify their short screen time with solid performances."

Aamir Khan Production was the studio behind this film, which also features 10 newcomers. They are actors Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar, who are all specially-abled. Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh are principal actors alongside these stars in waiting. This is the first official remake of the Spanish film Campeones.
Directed by RS Prasanna, the film was released on 21 June. While the film opened decently, its sports comedy-drama began to gather serious momentum over the weekend. It has been reported by Sacnilk that the film has crossed the ₹100 crore market worldwide in just four days.
