56.82 percent polling in Gorakhpur

Due to the time of agents for Mak Pole, voting on the Chief Minister's booth began late. 56.82 per cent polling was recorded in nine assembly seats of Gorakhpur district.
In the sixth phase of the assembly elections, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath voted at booth number 249 of Gorakhnath, the primary school of Gorakhpur city seat, at 7 am on Thursday. Due to the time of agents for Mak Pole, voting on the Chief Minister's booth began late. 56.82 per cent polling was recorded in nine assembly seats of Gorakhpur district.
After tallying with the presiding diary, the voting percentage may increase slightly. In the 2017 assembly elections, 55.44 percent voter turnout was recorded. The highest 63.26 percent polling was recorded in Pipraich and the lowest 50.20 percent was in Bansgaon. On the other hand, 58.93 percent in Campierganj, 60.11 percent in Gorakhpur Rural, 61.04 percent in Sahjanwan, 52.65 percent in Khajni, 57.44 percent in Chauri Chaura, 55.12 percent in Gorakhpur city and 52.67 percent in Chillupar.
