4 Doctors, Technician Killed in Agra Expressway Accident: Car Hits Divider, Collides with Truck
Four doctors and a lab technician died in the morning hours on Wednesday after their car collided with a truck on the Agra-Lucknow expressway.
4 Doctors, Technician Killed in Agra Expressway Accident: According to reports, four doctors and a lab technician died in the morning hours on Wednesday after their car collided with a truck on the Agra-Lucknow expressway. These doctors were postgraduate trainees with the Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences in Saifai.
Reportedly there is also one more who has critically injured and was rushed to the hospital. The accident occurred when the Scorpio SUV lost control and collided with the divider. The truck hit the vehicle.

They were returning to Saifai after attending a wedding in Lucknow when the group of doctors and the technician encountered the incident.
According to Superintendent of Police Amit Kumar Anand, the accident took place at around 3 am after the SUV lost control and crashed into the median divider.
“The vehicle subsequently crossed into the oncoming lane, where it collided with a truck. As a result, the four doctors and one lab technician died on the spot. One additional person, a PG student, suffered serious injuries and was rushed to Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Medical College in Tirwa," the officer said.

The deceased doctor-anirudh-verma from Agra (29); Dr Santosh Kumar Maurya of Bhadohi (46); Dr Arun Kumar from Kannauj (34); Dr Nardev of Bareilly (35) and lab technician Rakesh Kumar from Bareilly (38).
“The injured, identified as Jaiveer Singh (39) from Moradabad, has been admitted to the Tirwa Medical College," Circle Officer of Tirwa, Dr Priyanka Bajpai, told news agency PTI.
It was said that the technician and the group of doctors had gone for a wedding in Lucknow and were on their way back to Saifai. Circle Officer, Tirwa, Dr. Priyanka Bajpai said that one of the injured in the accident is 39-year-old Jaiveer Singh from Moradabad, who was flown to Tirwa Medical College. The bodies have been sent for postmortem said police.
