2841 new cases of corona found in the country in the last 24 hours, less than 19 thousand active cases

A report has been released regarding the cases of Coronavirus in India in the country. The Health Ministry said that 2,841 new cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours. While 9 people have died during this period. For the fourth consecutive day, less than three thousand cases of corona have been reported. Earlier, 2288 cases were reported on 9 May, 2897 on 10 May and 2827 on 11 May.

The ministry said that 3,295 people have also recovered from Corona during this period. The active cases of corona have now come down to less than 19 thousand. There are currently 18,604 active cases of corona in the country. At the same time, a total of 4 crore 25 lakh 73 thousand 460 people have been cured so far. While a total of 5 lakh 24 thousand 190 patients have died due to corona.

The first death due to the COVID pandemic in India occurred in March 2020. According to the data of the Health Ministries, the positivity rate in the country is 0.58 percent. On the other hand, if we talk about the corona vaccine, so far 190.99 crore doses have been given to the people.
