12 killed in salt factory wall collapse in Gujarat, PM Modi expressed grief
The CM has directed the Morbi district collector and system operators for immediate rescue and relief operations.
A major accident has happened in Morbi district of Gujarat. Here the wall of the salt factory has collapsed. Around 12 laborers have died due to being buried under the debris. It is being told that the workers were working in the factory at the time of the accident. The matter has been reported to the police. Relief and rescue work is still on.
Some more people are also feared trapped under the debris. Condoling the incident, the Prime Minister said, "The tragedy of the collapse of the wall in Morbi is heart-wrenching. My thoughts are with the bereaved families in this hour of grief. Get the injured get well soon. Local authorities are providing all possible help to the affected.
Amit Shah has also condoled this incident, 'The death of 12 people in an accident in Morbi, Gujarat is very sad. I have spoken to Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel Ji, the administration is busy in providing relief. The injured are being rushed to the hospital and they are being treated. I express my condolences to the bereaved families.
