Remo D’Souza Attends Maha Kumbh Mela in Disguise: From January 13 to February 26, 2025, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, is undergoing the Mahakumbh Mela, attended by millions of devotees from India and abroad. For the first time, renowned choreographer-director Remo D'Souza visited the Kumbh with his family.

He shared a video on social media about his visit to the Kumbh. In the clip, Remo is seen wearing this black outfit, his face partially covered so that passersby could not easily recognize him. He flagged the colorful atmosphere of the Kumbh while sitting on the boat discovering the area.

Remo also met Swami Kailashanand Giri Maharaj, where he heard some life-changing discourses and asked for his blessings. He explained his recent threats to himself: he felt protected by his faith as long as Mahadev and his loved ones were with him.

The massive spiritual festival has commenced this January 13 and will continue till February 26, for a total of 45 days. Marking one of the largest and most significant gatherings in Hindu culture, it is held every twelve years at four rotating sites: Prayagraj, Haridwar, Ujjain, and Nashik.

The Maha Kumbh Mela comprises yoga, lectures by some eminent scholars on spirituality, and performances of classical music. Besides, it will be witnessing the inclusion of cutting-edge technology in the celebrations—a drone show reenacting stories from mythology, including perhaps 'Samudra Manthan' to add flavor to the experience.

In his work life, the director of ABCD is ready to release his next film, Be Happy, in which the lead is played by Abhishek Bachchan. It's the story of a single father of a little girl dreaming to perform in a major dance reality show. And Nora Fatehi is also part of the film.
