Amitabh Bachchan Praises Ranbir Kapoor’s Brand Arks: ‘Ranbir Kapoor launched his lifestyle brand, ARKS, on February 14 with its first reveal. The actor inaugurated a store in Mumbai. Endorsing his brand’s clothing collection, Ranbir wore a denim shacket and sneakers to Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s birthday party with Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.

While Ranbir’s fans are exploring the recently launched collection, Amitabh Bachchan sent his good wishes to the brand. The veteran actor reviewed ARKS’ sneakers in a handwritten letter. It read, “Dearest Ranbir, My gratitude for your gift; the ARKS sneakers. Love tried them on and wore them to work. They are rather nice and comfortable! All good wishes to you and your endeavour. Lots of love (sic).” Mr Bachchan and Ranbir have worked together in Brahmastra.

The brand was introduced on Ranbir Kapoor’s birthday in 2024. Reacting to the launch, wife Alia Bhatt shared the promotional video on her Instagram stories and cheered for her hubby. She also called it ‘our dream’. Alia wrote, “Our dream..10 years in the making..A home-grown brand-elevated essentials brand comes to life! @arks launching on the 14th February. Break a leg baby."

Not long back, in a heartwarming promotional video, Ranbir took fans on a journey down memory lane. He recalls the first pair of sneakers he ever bought — a sleek black pair with a zip. “My first pair, I will never forget that feeling. It was a black colour sneaker with a zip. And I remember when I got them. I kept them in a box and I didn’t wear them for months. You know, I would just come home from school and just look at them. They were the most precious things I had. More than my cricket bat or my football. I want to recapture that feeling with ARKS."

Speaking about his brand, Ranbir in a official statement said, "At ARKS, we believe in creating products that aren't loud but still make a statement. It's about finding confidence in the simplicity of design and feeling good in what you wear, what you use, and how you live."

"For me, it didn’t just need to look stylish. It had to be the most comfortable. ARKS is a reflection of my journey and my personal style. When you look at the collection, it’s me in every detail," he added.

Ranbir's ARKS has a range of lifestyle products including trousers, timeless white T-shirts, shirts, and high-end footwear.

Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor previously collaborated in Ayan Mukerji's 2022 action-adventure Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva. The film also starred Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Shah Rukh Khan, and Dimple Kapadia
