Amit Shah: Amit Shah will flag off three Gaurav Yatras of BJP in Gujarat today
Amit Shah will flag off a yatra from Janjarka in Ahmedabad district. This yatra will conclude in Somnath temple town. After this, in the evening, he will launch two more Gaurav Yatras from Unai in Navsari district. One journey from Unai will travel through the tribal region of the state to Ambaji temple, while the other journey will reach Phagvel temple town in Kheda district.

All the parties are busy trying hard for the Gujarat Assembly elections. Under this, the Bharatiya Janata Party has also geared up for the Gujarat Assembly elections to be held later this year. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will flag off three "Gaurav Yatras" of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Gujarat today.

The party said in a release that BJP Union ministers and state unit leaders would join the yatra at different places.
On Wednesday, BJP President JP Nadda had flagged off two such yatras in the state. Elections to the total 182-seat Gujarat assembly are due later this year. The BJP has planned eight to nine days of Gaurav Yatras. As part of the campaign, the party will campaign in several assembly constituencies.
Actually, BJP has planned 5 Gaurav Yatras in the state. Of this, two will be flagged off by BJP President JP Nadda and three by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Significantly, in view of the upcoming elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party has appointed 16 national leaders and 14 state leaders to accompany them in the Gaurav Yatra. The yatra will cover 144 assembly seats in Gujarat.
