Amazon Hemp Delivery Racket: In the investigation, Bhaskar created a seller ID on Amazon, no physical verification

If you search Babu tax on e-commerce company Amazon's app, then Babu tax Kadhi patta option will appear in the search option. After clicking on it, some other products will appear in the search. If you did this search about 20 days ago, you would have seen the account of a seller selling curry leaves under the name Babu Tax. The surprising thing is that in the name of selling curry leaves, a network of selling ganja was run from this seller account. That too not in one or two districts but in many states of the country.

Ganja was delivered from Visakhapatnam to many parts of the country and the entire racket was being operated from Bhind, a small district of Madhya Pradesh. Bhind Police and Visakhapatnam Police together have arrested 8 people of this Amazon Hemp Supply Racket. This includes two Amazon pickup boys and a van driver.

Dainik Bhaskar has investigated this matter by visiting Gwalior and Bhind. The police officers who uncovered this racket, understood the way it works. Bhaskar himself created a seller ID on the Amazon platform named 'Vaibhav Lamps' and this ID was also registered without any verification. If we could somehow juggle the GSTN number, then we would also be able to sell our product on Amazon easily.

On November 13, the police raided Govind Dhaba in Bhind district of Madhya Pradesh on the information of an informer. In the raid, more than 21 kg of ganja was recovered and two people were arrested. Even this seems to be a common raid incident, but the policemen were shocked to see the hemp in the packing of multinational company Amazon. The same Amazon from which you and I keep ordering something or the other every day. After this, in the investigation of the police, the layers of the hemp supply racket through Amazon started opening. Police raided Gwalior and arrested two more members of this racket.
