According to initial estimates, the total collection on the first day is likely to be between Rs 12 crore and Rs 15 crore which is much better than expected. According to a report by Box OfficeIndia.com, the film has been released across 2900-3000 screens across the country. It started well in Hyderabad and Bangalore and almost all the shows were housefull.
The film started on a good note and the morning shows witnessed a crowd. Due to Holi being a holiday, many theaters were closed till 12 o'clock as they were inside the mall. Hence, it has seen impressive growth with average occupancy ranging between 60 per cent to 80 per cent after 6 pm.
