Akasa Air plane collided with a bird at an altitude of 1900 feet, landing at Delhi airport

Earlier, on October 15, a bird collided with an Akasa Air flight from Mumbai to Bangalore, after which the plane had to return to the airport. A DGCA official said that after hitting the bird, there was a burning smell in the cabin of the aircraft. It is said that when the VT-YAE aircraft took off, its engine was working normally, but after some time the smell of burning started coming from the cabin. The remains of a bird were also found on the engine. Akasa Airlines has been started from 7 August 2022.
