Ajit Mohan, the Indian head of META India, has resigned from his post with immediate effect. Meta India gave this information on Thursday. According to the company, Ajit Mohan has resigned from his post in search of better opportunities. It is known that Facebook recently changed its name to Meta.
Ajit Mohan joined Facebook India in January 2019 as Managing Director. Working here, the company added more than 200 million users - WhatsApp and Instagram - in India. Ajit Mohan joined Facebook India as Managing Director in January 2019. He had replaced Umang Bedi, who stepped down in October 2017. Prior to Meta, Mohan served as the Chief Executive Officer of Star India's video streaming service Hotstar for four years.
Nicola Mendel Sohn, META's Global Business Group Vice President, says Ajit has decided to step down from Meta for another opportunity outside.
