Ajinkya Rahane Faces Backlash for Slow Innings in CSK vs SRH IPL 2024 Match: Fans React

jinkya Rahane Faces Backlash for Slow Innings in CSK vs SRH: Rajiv Gandhi Stadium was heavily trolled and criticized for Rahane's 30-ball 35-run knock. Was it a difficult pitch to bat on? Well, it wasn't as placid as the one offering more than 500 runs between SRH and MI a few nights ago, but it was a pretty wicket overall.
Despite this, none of the top three batters scored freely for CSK. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, T Natarajan and Pat Cummins deserve credit. Ravindra was out 12 off 9 balls, while Ruturaj Gaikwad made 26 off 21 balls. But Rahane had a strange innings. He played a couple of sublime strokes, but in between, he could not get anything going.
Ajinkya Rahane contributed a steady 35 off 30 deliveries to the match, while Shivam Dube scored 45 off 24 balls. While the 65 runs partnership between the duo for the third wicket was the highlight of CSK's innings, there were few other noteworthy moments.

The lower-order batsmen for CSK failed to accelerate in the final overs, adding only 37 runs in the last five overs, which could prove pivotal to the match's outcome.
Defending champions got a much-needed boost from Ravindra Jadeja's unbeaten 31 off 23 balls.
Former captain MS Dhoni remained not out after two balls.
With the introduction of spin, particularly Shahbaz Ahmed's spell, CSK lost momentum as the innings progressed.
As Rahane contributed useful runs, he struggled to find fluency in his strokeplay against SRH's variations in pace.
CSK's innings got some impetus from Dube's aggressive innings during the middle overs, but his dismissal in the 14th over hindered them.
Rahane then fell, leaving CSK with two quick wickets.
